Still Motion / Amber is a working experiment exploring amorphous materials - that is materials that have both fluid and solid properties.  Bitumen and rosin are two such materials; they appear solid and brittle at room temperature and yet can be highly viscose. 

This work was produced during a residency in a listed Georgian building on Westgate Road, Newcastle.
