Touching on material science and the study of matter, Still Motion - Bitumen is a piece of work exploring amorphous materials - that is materials that have both fluid and solid properties.  The bitumen blocks that support the weight of the steel rod slump and change form over the course of the exhibition.

Still Motion - Bitumen was part of a body of work shown in a solo exhibition called 'The Nature of Things' at Newcastle Art Centre.
